The Scandinavian right to information acts

Scandinavian states are in some respect more democratic than many others. One important element is the right to get access to documents produced by the authorities. We give workshops and lecture on these rights, and their limitations and possibilities. In practical exercises the participants will learn from their own practice to demand copies of documents and other forms of information from governments, counties, and local authorities. We present short and practical information about the laws, citizens’ rights and the duties of the authorities.
